2015 Chrysler 300 Being Revealed at Los Angeles Auto Show

Chrysler has been having a streak of good luck. The revamping of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee turned out to be an extremely popular decision as the new Jeep races up the sales chart. The maker-over of the 2015 Chrysler 200 has people paying attention to the little known sedan again. There’s plenty of more products on the horizon, such as the new Jeep Renegade, and that always begs the question of what is next. It seems that next on the Chrysler agenda is the 300.

World Cars Fans is reporting that Chrysler is going to bring out the 2015 Chrysler 300 for the world to see at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Chrysler did not offer up exact details, definitely saving anything and everything for the grand reveal.

That hasn’t stopped spy photos of the 2015 300 from leaking out. While the spy photos show the 300 draped in all black attire and attempts to hide any major distinguishing features, many were quick to spot certain differences. The bumper looks modified, the headlights restyled, and the grille has changed.

Now we all must wait to see what Chrysler has in store for the next iteration of the Chrysler 300.

Chrysler Wheels & Beats Package Upgrades 2014 Chrysler 300

The Chrysler 300 has always been a notable vehicle for its sophistication.  It advertises itself as the affordable luxury sedan.  When Chrysler has teamed up with any partners to bring a new twist to the 300, it has always been an interesting choice.  An example is the John Varvatos edition of the 300.  Chrysler has introduced another unique team-up to their list.

The Chrysler 300 Wheels & Beats Package is the off-spring of Chrysler and Beats joining together to bring a new luxury to their sedan.  The package will be available for the 2014 Chrysler 300.  As the name references, the Wheels & Beats Package aims at integrating the BeatsAudio sound system into the 300.  Along with that new sound system, the package also has a new set of 18-inch chrome wheels.

The BeatsAudio sound system features 10 high-end speakers, a powerful subwoofer, and a 552-watt amplifier.  All of this combines to bring a one-of-a-kind audio experience to the Chrysler 300.

The 18-inch chrome wheels are meant to bring a whole new level of style to the 300.  They look fantastic but do provide improvements on the handling as well.

The Wheels & Beats Package is available to drivers for $825.  If you’re interested in getting the package, contact us at Bayside Chrysler Jeep Dodge for the full details.  Be sure to also like us on Facebook and to follow us on Twitter to see our monthly offers and

Great Gatsby Brings Back the Classics

gatsby carRetro is the “in-thing” this week with the release of the new adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s iconic jazz-age novel, The Great Gatsby.

One of the most notorious and fondly remembered portions of the novels is the vivid descriptions of the title character Gatsby’s car. The car is a “rich cream color bright with nickel, swollen here and there in its monstrous length with triumphant hat boxes and supper-boxes and tool-boxes, and terraced with a labyrinth of windshields that mirrored a dozen suns.

The car is written about in full detail but is still missing an important feature for car-lovers. Fitzgerald in all his imagery never reveals a specific auto-maker behind Gatsby’s one-of-a-kind ride.

The 1974 film staring Roberto Redford used a 1928 Rolls Royce Phantom 1 Ascot Tourer to bring the infamous car to life. In the new Baz Luhrmann interpretation, it’s a 1929 Duesenberg.

They certainly show how far car design has come; how much tastes have changed over the generations. Take a look at a real classic, the 1933 Chrysler Royal 8 Convertible Coupe and compare it to, say, today’s 300 Sedan.

As The Great Gastby gets released nation-wide today, what are some of the best oldies that come off the top of your head for the jazz age?
